Born June 25th, 1967, is an American artist,
multi-instrumentalist, songwriter,
from Los Angeles, California.
Tyrone Rotunno began his career at the age of 13, as a drummer for a variety of bands. He has recorded multiple albums, and has toured the U.S. while performing regularly at many venues in Los Angeles.
Recent work includes 2 self-released studio EP’s, music composition for the
movie soundtrack SEDONA, and Music Supervisor for the motion picture
All About Sex released 2021.
Rotunno has grown adept at taking an idea through the journey of imagined musings to completed work. Using his distinctive artistry he integrates literary and musical influences producing enduring songs.
Instruments: Piano, synthesizer, electric guitar, electric bass, drum set styles, percussion, along with various prepared instrumentation for recording, live improvisation and re-composition. Recording and live performance incorporates vocals/lyrics, audio signal processing using synthesis, computer based digital processing, acoustic and recorded sounds influenced by musique concréte.
